Bobby Simmons shattered all expectations this past season. Coming off a strong 2003-04 campaign as a Clippers reserve, the Clippers coaching staff hoped the 6-6 DePaul product would give them more of the same in 2004-05 and possibly even compete for a starting spot. However, once Training Camp tipped off, it became increasinly evident that Bobby would assume an even greater role in the Clippers' attack. From Opening Night on, he provided LA with a reliable scoring punch from the perimeter and big shots in pressure situations. His efforts deservedly landed him the NBA's 2004-05 Most Improved Player Award, and Clippers fans can't wait to see what he has in store for 2005-06.
