HORNETS ANNOUNCE 2011-12 PRESEASON SCHEDULE
NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks to visit the Hive on Oct. 28

The New Orleans Hornets announced today that they will play eight preseason games prior to their Nov. 2 season opener vs. Chicago, highlighted by the team’s matchup against the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks in the New Orleans Arena on October 28, a game that will be televised nationally by ESPN.
The Hornets begin the preseason with a road contest against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, Oct. 9. The team will play two more road games in Cleveland and Wichita, KS respectively before having their preseason home opener on Oct. 18 against the Orlando Magic.
In addition to their two home preseason games at the New Orleans Arena, the Hornets will host the Houston Rockets in a home game in Biloxi, MS on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
